Good News!
Show Number 4 has just been produced and uploaded for your enjoyment. It features the talents of Brandon Douglas, Chris Hartwell, One Man Mormon Blues Band, April Meservy, InsideOut A Cappella, and Steven Stewart. If you like the music of any or all of these artists, check the show notes to find links to purchase their music for your library!
As I mentioned in the show today, I've been a little lax in publishing shows. In fact, the previous show was 7 weeks ago. This lag isn't because I'm lazy, or too busy. (Trust me, I've got a VERY busy schedule!) I'm a bit concerned about the number of downloads. I realize the show is new, but I haven't been seeing as many downloads as I expected.
My normal method of operations is to have 6 shows available for download at any given time. When show number 7 rolls out, I'll take show number 1 out of the download queue. This is to prevent having music from the artists available indefinitely. It doesn't entice people to buy their music if they can get the song(s) whenever they want on LDSIndies.com. That being said, I don't want to pull a show after it is time to roll off if the show has only been downloaded 25-30 times. So, I'm in a dilemma. Do I put out regular shows and roll off shows before their time? Do I wait longer between shows? Do I leave the shows out there longer?
If you have an opinion, I'd love to hear it. In the meanwhile, download show number 4 and enjoy some great music! And, since I probably won't be putting out another show before next Thursday, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who celebrate it in November. Even if you don't celebrate a day of thanks in November, let's all take the time to give thanks to our Heavenly Father for all the blessings we receive at His and, and often take for granted.

Hello, all.
I was waiting to put out a new show, cuz frankly the download numbers for the first three shows haven't been that great.
Here's my logic. I will usually keep the most recent 6-8 shows available to be downloaded. Since the show is new, I didn't want to roll off shows that hadn't had much download activity, since that wouldn't be fair to the artists in the show. On the other hand, I also don't think it's fair to the artists to leave their songs available for 6 months. So, I've been stuck in a dilemma. Do I put out more shows and wait, or wait, then put out more shows?
Well, the downloads have been picking up, so I'm getting ready to put out the next show. It will be featuring music from "One Man Mormon Blues Band" (Gary McAllister), Chris Hartwell, InsideOut A Capella, Brandon Douglas, Steven Stewart, and April Meservy.
I'm targeting Wednesday or so to have this show released, so stay tuned. I'll post here when I release it, and you can also check the website at www.ldsindies.com to get the show notes and more info about the show.

Greetings, and happy Monday!
I hope you've found and been able to download the show, and have had a chance to listen to it. I must admit, I'm very disappointed in iTunes. I submitted the feed for the show about a week ago, and the show is still not listed in iTunes. If anyone has any hints on how to speed up the process, let me know. Or, if anyone knows that this length of time to wait is normal, again, let me know.
One other bit of information that is informational only. I've created a GoogleMail account for the show. I was using my steve at ldsindies dot com address, but literally half of my outbound mail never made it to the intended recipients. YIKES! So, I created a G-Mail account today that I'll be using for correspondence for the show. The address is
